A fact sheet on St. Mary School

EdChoice Scholarship Program
The Ohio EdChoice Program has scholarships availabel to attend St.
Mary School for the 2010/2011 school year in grades kindergarten
thru the sixth grade. All the tuition is paid in full for those
students who quality by the Ohio Department of Education.

Who is eligible for EdChoice scholarships?
Any students currently attending preschool through grade 5 at any of the
designated EdChoice schools listed below in the Marion City School
district in the year 2009/2010.
Rutherford B. Hayes ES, William H. Taft ES
James A. Garfield ES, William McKinley ES

In some cases there are grants available to those in need.

Participating Rate:
Kdg. thru 6th	Before June 30	After June 30

NON-Participating Rate:
Kdg. thru 6th	$3200	$3250

Please Note:
To receive the participating tuition rate, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Parents must be registered members of St. Mary Parish.
2. Parents must attend mass on a weekly basis with their children.
3. Parents need to participate in parish and school fund-raisers.
4. Parents need to use parish envelopes and contribute an average of $10 per week.

Families who qualify for parish participating rates and have four or more children at St. Mary and Marion Catholic will pay for the first three children and the tuition will be allocated between the schools using the Multi-Child Family Tuition Policy.

Payment Options:
1. Tuition may be paid in full before June 30th.
2. Tuition may be paid in full by July 30th at the higher rate
3. Tuition may be paid in 10 monthly payments using the Facts Tuition Management Company. A Facts Tuition Agreement must be completed

Tuition assistance is available for Catholic families who qualify.
