Dear Friends of Marion’s Catholic Schools:
Marion’s Catholic school students receive a superior academic faith-based education as documented by Marion Catholic’s class of 2011 receiving over two million dollars in college scholarships. Marion’s Catholic Schools Advancement Committee is inviting you to participate in a new program entitled the Guardian Angel Fund. The purpose of this Fund is to help preserve Marion’s Catholic schools presence within the Marion educational community. With the 2011-2012 academic year rapidly approaching, time is of the essence to establish a start-up funding base to be used to retain current students and recruit new students. You have the honor and privilege of being selected to make the Guardian Angel Fund a viable financial aid resource for parents who desire a faith-based education for their children. As a Charter Guardian Angel, we are requesting that your initial tax-deductible donation be enclosed with your commitment card. Please indicate on your commitment card the amount of your enclosed tax-deductible donation and the amount and payment option you have selected for continued donations to the Guardian Angel Fund.
Guardian Angel Fund Form and Letter
Once established, the Guardian Angel Fund will provide families needing tuition assistance with immediate relief. The Committee suggests an annual tax-deductible donation of $420 or small monthly donations of $35.00. Your donations will help fund the difference between what a family is able to pay and tuition due. A Guardian Angel also may sponsor a specific child. Small monthly donations will make the difference between a family being able to send their child to Marion’s Catholic schools or not. It is hoped that through the generosity of Guardian Angels more children will be helped to receive a faith based education through Marion’s Catholic schools.
Even if you are unable to make a donation at this time, please help us continue the tradition of Marion’s Catholic schools by filling out the enclosed commitment card and returning it in the provided envelope.
